The rent is $1,000 per month, plus 30% of the BC Hydro electricity bill (approximately $28–$53 depending on the season and usage). I am a Chinese woman looking for a housemate. I welcome clean and responsible individuals of any gender. A security deposit of $500 is required. The minimum stay is 6 months. - The home is kept very clean; I am looking for someone who values cleanliness as well. - No smoking. The room is unfurnished. Rent includes heating, water, electricity, and unlimited Telus Wi-Fi. Kitchen amenities: Stove, refrigerator, toaster oven, rice cooker, cooking utensils, and pots/pans. You will have a private full bathroom (with bathtub and shower). Location: 52nd Avenue (one block west of Fraser Street). It is within walking distance of 49th Avenue with easy bus access to the Canada Line Langara-49th Avenue Station. Available bus routes: via Fraser Street (20 minutes to downtown) and via 49th Avenue (20 minutes to UBC). Neighborhood: Along Fraser Street (between 41st and 51st Avenue), there are many shops, restaurants, banks, and dental clinics. Nearby facilities: Oakridge Mall, Safeway, Nesters, BC Liquor Store, Superstore, etc. Banks: Vancity, RBC, CIBC, TD Canada Trust, Scotiabank, and BMO.
